Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept all major credit cards (except American Express) which are processed on line by Protx. We also accept payment by PayPal. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, and snail mail. All payments are made in GB£ (Sterling) and any currency conversion is purely for indication purposes only.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Exchange rates used on the site are for guidance purposes only, they will not necessarily reflect the actual price you will be charged when you checkout. |
Shipping And Handling
Shipping is charged at a "flat rate" per order, regardless of the quantity purchased, weight or size:

UK 2nd Class: Free
UK 1st Class: £1.25 + VAT
UK Special Delivery: £4.75 + VAT
Europe & Worldwide:
Orders under £100.00 =
Air Mail - Europe £2.00 + VAT
Air Mail - World Wide: £4.00
Airsure Priority Airmail: £8.00 + VAT if applicable (the fastest international postal service, with tracking - only available to selected countries)
DHL Express Courier Service (outside the UK only): Price calculated on checkout depending on which country you are in.
Orders over £100.00 delivered FREE (Airsure & DHL is extra)
We are happy to ship to BFPO addresses and this can be selected as a delivery destination.

UK: 1-5 business days after despatch
If you require fast UK delivery select Royal Mail Special Delivery which is guaranteed within 2 working days.
Air Mail: 10-14 days
Airsure Priority Airmail: 3-7 days
DHL Express: 2-6 business days. Please CLICK HERE for DHL estimated transit times.
DHL Express Important Note: We have to send commercial invoices separately with DHL shipments and this can increase the likelihood of import taxes or customs duties being charged.
Any customs duty, import taxes and or surcharges are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check with your local Customs & Excise unit for further information.
All our orders are dispatched in plain LDPE polythene mailing bags. These are high strength, weatherproof and burst / puncture resistant with a permanent self seal closure - Plus they are 100% recyclable. Opened with a sharp pair of scissors they can safely be used for returning goods to us. |

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

Guarantee
We offer a 28 day return period for all UK orders and 56 days for International orders allowing you time to evaluate your purchases and if necessary return the item for a full refund with no restocking fees, provided they are returned in a new and unused resalable condition.
We can only accept swimwear back if it has not been tried on and any tags are still attached. |
Privacy Policy
Halcyon Blue does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login)
d. Monitor customer account status beyond that required for individual purchases
e. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam) unless you specifically request us to do so and then you will always have the option to remove your name from our mailing list. |
Returns Policy
We are very proud of the quality of our products and our high level of customer service. If you are not happy with your purchase please return it to us for an exchange or no quibble refund.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT RETURNING ITEMS:
1) Any returns that have been worn, damaged, had the tags and sanitary stickers removed (not all items have sanitary stickers) will not be refunded or exchanged and will be sent back to you.
2) When returning items please take the time to return them in the condition you received them in. Tops and bottoms should be folded flat, and carefully laid in the bag. Tops and bottoms that have been returned with knots still tied, smelling of cigarette smoke etc, or badly creased from being simply stuffed into bags, will NOT be refunded, and will be returned back to you in the same condition.
3) Please return any items for exchange or refund within 28 days for UK customers and 56 days for customers in all other countries.
4) If you require an exchange we will not charge you shipping. The goods will be sent by second class post within the UK. International exchanges will be sent by standard airmail. If you require a different method of shipment this will be charged at the extra cost. Please see our Shipping Information page for the different methods available.
6) If you paid extra for shipping and handling these costs are NOT refundable, unless the items are faulty or we have sent the incorrect items.

How to return your items:
Please include a copy of our returns form, which can be found by clicking the link below or on the back of your delivery paperwork.

If you want to make an exchange and the replacement item is more expensive you will need to place a new order for this item and we will refund the returned item, or you can contact us with your credit card details so we can process the extra payment.
If you are returning a parcel from outside the EU please put the description on the Customs sticker as "Unsuitable / Faulty goods returned to retailer" (see the example below) and then the post office will not charge us import duty. If they try to charge duty we will refuse the package, and the postal service will return it to you to start the whole process again.
If you need an urgent exchange:
Please contact us first to ensure we have the item in stock and can get it to you in time. The quickest way to make an exchange is to place a new order and return the unwanted item for a refund.
